BLOG

Hey All,

I hope this finds all of you well and healthy. It’s been a great week with a chilly weekend to end with. I’m staying in and staying warm and get some house chores done. UUGGGGHHH!!!

Ok, this week’s blog continuing with the seminar topics … “Weight or strength training, what’s the difference”?

Enjoy!!

Hey All,

I hope this finds all of you well and healthy. Uhhh … nothing really new to report this week. Just enjoy the cold a bit longer … you and I both know it’ll be hot enough soon enough, so just suck it up, put on a hat and coat and ride it out. You’ll be hollering about the heat in no time!! Ok, enough of that.

Ok, this week’s blog continuing with the seminar topics … “Cardio or weights – which is better”?

Enjoy!!

Hey All,

You guys out there know that tomorrow is Valentine’s Day, right? Now, I’ll be the first to say that Valentine’s Day is a “made up” holiday as well as a bit overdone, but I’ll also add, that it’s pretty sad that we have to have a “HOLIDAY” for some of you guys to express your feelings and devotion to your loved ones. If you’re WITH them you shouldn’t need a holiday to let them know how important they are … I’m just saying … (I received a lot of positive comments about this paragraph last week … so I thought I’d repeat just one more time) Happy Valentine’s Day to the ladies that read this.

Ok, this week’s blog continuing with the seminar topics … “I’ll get BIG muscles if I lift weights, right”?

Enjoy!!

Enjoy!!

Hey All,

I hope your February is off to a great start! Saturday was kinda yucky, but Sunday was beautiful!! Hope you got out some!

Ok, this weeks blog (sorry I’m late getting it out) is from one of the questions in the PT Seminar I did last week … what??? You didn’t know so you didn’t show up!!??? It was posted … don’t know what to tell ya. Anyway … one of the topics was … “how do I lose this”? (pointing to some part of the body), mostly a stomach. Here’s my answer to y’all that weren’t there.

Enjoy!!

Q: Lunch is a good meal to have, right?

I’ve actually been asked if it’s right or wrong to have “lunch”. Sure, lunch is a mid-day meal that helps keep your energy up and your blood sugars leveled out … IF you’re eating right! Remember what I said a couple of weeks ago – it’s better to have 4 or 5 big “snacks” (think “grazing”) than to have 4 or 5 small meals. You decide how big your lunch will be, but again you’re just eating so you can get through the next 2 to 3 hours. Keep it simple … light and with ALL your “macro-nutrients”, carbohydrates, proteins and fats.

Hey All,

I hope your 2015 is off to a great start! I found this article and thought it was really appropriate for the start of the year. I’m guilty as well of NOT getting the most out of my weekends … so this is for me too!! Life is short … why not take some time to relax … work will always be there Monday!

Enjoy!!
